President – As President of Mission Rock Residential, Pat is responsible in part, for the planning and coordination, transition, development, and performance of property operations. Beginning with the execution of Hamilton Zanze & Company’s Colorado portfolio, she currently oversees assets valued at $1.3 billion.
Under Pat’s leadership, Mission Rock is an industry leader in implementing policies and procedures, metrics, systems, best practices, management structure, compensations systems, use of technology and effective training to create a strong and consistent operating discipline for Mission Rock.
Prior to joining Mission Rock, Pat was with Legacy Partners Residential, Inc. (LPRI). She joined LPRI in 1992 and was the New Development Lease-up Specialist and Regional Manager in Northern and Southern California. She was then promoted to Vice President, and was responsible for the property management of the Colorado and Utah regions where her focus was the oversight of several thousand units with values in excess of $450MM. Her multifamily experience spans over 24 years, in which time her broad expertise has helped her position assets to maximize value. This has earned her a much respected reputation from both institutional and private owners.
Pat currently serves on the Board of Directors for the National Apartment Association Educational Institute (NAAEI) and is a NAA Legislative Committee Member. In 2012, she was awarded the Most Outstanding Executive in Colorado by the Apartment Association Metro Denver (AAMD). She is also Past President of the Colorado Apartment Association (CAA) and currently serves on the Colorado
Apartment Association Board of Directors. Ms. Hutchison holds a Colorado Employing Broker License and CAPS Designation (Certified Apartment Portfolio Supervisor), through the National Apartment Association. Ms. Hutchison is also a CPM Candidate through IREM.
Originally from the Bay Area, she attended American River College in Sacramento and College of Marin.
Chief Financial Officer – As Chief Financial Officer and co-founder, Charlie brings over 20 years of finance, banking and real estate industry experience to Mission Rock. Prior positions include senior roles underwriting, structuring, and syndicating real estate debt as well as senior management positions with several private and early stage ventures. Over the course of his career, Charlie has been involved in a wide range of real estate projects including mixed use, multifamily, commercial office and senior housing developments across the United States. As an entrepreneur, he founded consulting companies to provide contract finance professionals and raise capital for private companies in the Bay Area. Charlie graduated Cum Laude with a BA in Political Science from Providence College.
Executive Vice President Eastern U.S. Region (Colorado, Utah, New Mexico and Texas.) – As Executive Vice President of the Eastern Region, Meredith oversees Colorado, Utah, New Mexico and Texas. Ms. Wright is responsible for the financial and operational success of the Eastern Region portfolio while also managing the operational transition of new acquisitions in her portfolio.
Prior to Mission Rock, Meredith was a key founding member and Vice President of Operations for Echelon Property Group in Denver, CO. Her responsibilities included maintaining executive-level operational responsibility for approximately 6,000 fee-managed units statewide as well as engaging with clients, multiple ownership groups and asset managers.
For seven years as Vice President of Operations for Baron Properties, she was responsible for client development and all third-party management operations. Her previous experience also includes five years at Legacy Partners, with a Regional Manager role in both Northern California and Colorado.
Ms. Wright is a graduate of Colorado State University and is the past President of the Apartment Association of Metro Denver (AAMD) and current Executive Committee member of the AAMD. Meredith is also President-Elect of the Colorado Apartment Association (CAA).
Executive Vice President Western U.S. Region (Arizona, Nevada, Washington and Oregon)– As Executive Vice President of the Western Region, Kay oversees Arizona, Nevada and Washington. Ms. Hutchison is responsible for the financial and operational success of the Western Region portfolio while also managing the operational transition of new acquisitions in her portfolio.
Prior to joining Mission Rock Residential, Kay was the Vice President of Operations for PEM Real Estate Group in Scottsdale, AZ. She joined PEM in 2010 and was responsible for the property management of the SW Region, including Arizona, California and Nevada with the focus on increasing revenue and reducing operating expenses, while maintaining the integrity of the assets.
Kay was the President of Evergreen Realty Group for five years where she was responsible for the property management and client relations for 81 properties consisting of multifamily, student-housing, commercial and storage buildings. Her previous experience also includes ten years with Magellan Residential as the Vice President of Property Management in Arizona and California.
Ms. Hutchison holds an Arizona Broker License, is a CPM Candidate and attended Arizona State University.
Vice President - Marketing and Training –Ms. Bailey’s responsibilities include overseeing the marketing and education departments as well as managing the branding, leasing, design, digital marketing and all communications strategies for Mission Rock.
Prior to Mission Rock, Ms. Bailey was the Senior Vice President of Marketing at Legacy Partners for twelve years. She provided oversight for the six Regional Marketing/Training Directors during the development and lease-up of over 12,000 new units, and the management of over 25,000 units. Denise was instrumental in the transition from Lincoln Property Management Company to Legacy Partners, managing the overall company re-branding all the way down to new collateral material for each property.
Denise has developed corporate training programs for the multifamily industry, presenting classes for the Urban Land Institute, NAA and MultiFamily Executive conferences. As a principal designer for national marketing campaigns at Legacy Partners, Ms. Bailey also specialized in training colleagues to identify and execute best practices at all events. Ms. Bailey attended Arizona State University, where she majored in business.
Vice President - Property Services - As Vice President of Property Services, Mr. Bowen is currently responsible for the planning and coordination of capital projects, which include overseeing the scope, bidding and contract execution process. In addition, he is responsible for the team training of the Regional Maintenance Managers and Service Managers to ensure that asset preservation, safety programs and best practices are implemented. Todd is in charge of obtaining national pricing for the products that are utilized for the renovations, maintenance and repair of the Mission Rock properties. Todd oversees a team of Regional Maintenance Managers.
With over 20 years of experience in the multifamily industry, Todd was Director of Property Services for Legacy Partners Residential, Inc. and was responsible for the property management of the Colorado and Utah regions. His focus was the oversight of 225 maintenance professionals, assisting in new business proposals and the coordination of the due diligence process, complete interior renovations and completing an average of $2.0 million in capital projects per year.
In 2008, Todd was awarded the Tribute Award for the Most Outstanding Maintenance Director in Colorado by the Apartment Association Metro Denver.
